On Tuesday night, January 12th, Chouteau Fine Arts Academy participated in its first ever McTeacher Night at the McDonalds at 229 N. Gilcrease Museum Rd Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the General Manager is Kevin Hern. Our staff, students and families packed out McDonalds for three (3) hours earning us a whopping 1000.00, which was 15% of the total sells from 5:00-8:00 PM. Great job Chouteau Family and Community!
Because of our initial contact from participating in McTeacher’s Night, the General Manager Kevin Hern and his wife decided to start a new initiative with our school entitled, “#Communities Helping Classrooms” by donating a whopping $5000.00. This donation will be used to help with staff and student needs in the areas of academics and incentives for achievement, attendance and morale.
We are asking other Businesses in the Chouteau community to join this movement of #Communities Helping Classrooms to lock hands with us so that we can ensure that all of our children receive the very best education that we can give them so that their American Dream of receiving a quality education will not be snatched away from them.
We also want to thank The Williams Company for a check for 2500.00 in December to help purchase extra Reading Assessment kits and more math manipulatives to enhance Eureka Math.
Thank you again McDonalds Corporation, Kevin Hern, Artis Gavin and The Williams Company. You All Rock!!! YOU ARE HELPING US MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
